Keeper next year
|
Lukas Hradecky from Eintracht Frankfurt is ending his contract at the end of the season and will not renew.
He has been playing 3 years as their number 1 and currently 28 y/o.
A free agent who would probably love the challenge of Premier League football, so just about right for the board, although at 28 its probably 10 years to early.
Sign him up.

Seems a good target. Right age, height, good experience. I find goalkeepers generally really hard to assess, because they're so reliant on what goes on in front of them in a team.

Prob extend Harts loan for another year as city will struggle to flog him. Prob get Shay Given in as cover knowing our board.

Gav, I like Adrian, but he's not a great 'keeper. Some of his blunders over the years rival the nightmare games Joe Hart has had.
While I'm not advocating Joe Hart be signed as No.1, at least he has pedigree and a history of winning.
I don't watch much world football, though I am a fan of the Bundesliga when I catch a game. Not familiar with this bloke, but has anyone seen him play a string of games to verify whether he's good enough?

I would think either Pope or Heaton will be leaving Burnley in the summer,so either one of these will do. We will then need a no2 as Adrian will probably decide to move on. Freddie Woodman is an outstanding youngster( on loan at Aberdeen from Newcastle at the moment)

Nick Pope.
Best English keeper by a mile imo, much better than Pickford.

Adrian, great servant, but not consistent enough to be relied upon over a season. Makes far too many mistakes. Hope for his sake he has a stormer on Sunday against City, could well be his last game for the club. Deserves a good send off.

Silly season starting early, lets sign all free agents, have a squad of 100 unknowns!

If we start next season with Adrian in goal, Kouyate central midfield, and Zabaleta as our first choice right back, I'll be fuming.
FUMING.

Eerie agree regarding Nick Pope best English goalkeeper by a country mile. He will go to a bigger fish than us tho.

Is Heaton fit yet? Pope will be on a lesser contract and won’t want to be number 2 If I was Burnley I’d probably want to shift Heaton

We'l spend the entire summer being linked with Pope. Sullivan will bid £5m less than he's valued and make out that he did try his hardest but Burnley wouldn't sell.

We'll got for Butland, thinking we'll get him on the cheap post relegation. And then take hart on loan for another year on deadline day.
Don't forget our transfer window closes at 9th August, 3 weeks before most of the major leagues around the world, so Sullivan will have even less time to piss about like the fat, dwarf cunt that he is.
